I am a little behind with blogging all my gorgeous weddings from last year, and as I sit here on such a grey day I found myself thinking back to this dreamy wedding in particular, so I thought why not start here … and share this one with you all. Ben and Janine are part of my darling family and I was extremely privileged to photograph there stunning Aphrodite Hills wedding in Cyprus in September. They had a lovely intimate ceremony opposite the Aphrodite Chapel, and a tasty dinner reception in the ‘Secret Garden’ courtyard. Of course, I could not go all this way to such a stunning coast without persuading them to come down to the windy rocks with me for some photos! All I can say is that it was totally worth it, and such a good laugh. I had to re-pin most of Janine’s hair by the end of it, we did have a giggle! For anyone considering Cyprus as a wedding destination, it was bloody lovely. Gorgeous weather, beautiful coasts and lovely people (and the food is to die for!!).
What an experience 2016 has been! Every year I feel so humbled and lucky to have met and photographed so many truly lovely couples, and am so excited for what 2017 has to bring. I am so proud of how much my little business has grown this past year, and can’t wait for all that next year has in store. 2016 has been full of travel, love and laughter and all I can hope for is that next year brings the same. Shooting in Florida and Cyprus have to be two of this years highlights for me!!!
Thank you to all my lovely couples past and new, for choosing me to capture your special days. Wishing everyone the most magical New Year! xxx
Where to start with this wedding! I have known Phoebe for a few years through a friend and as soon as she got engaged I secretly hoped that I may be able to be the lucky photographer to capture hers and Joe’s day. Well, I got my wish!! And it didn’t disappoint … not one little bit. There are so many things that made this wedding totally epic for me. Stunning setting (I have also always wanted to shoot at Hill Place so this was another big tick for me!), soft colour scheme, beautiful dreamy flowers, a Willow By Watters dress, flower crowns, a Shakespeare table theme and a ‘First Song’ instead of a first dance. Epic doesn’t even do this wedding justice!!! Phoebe and Joe had me in fits of laughter all day, as did all of their wonderful guests, and their ‘First Song’ was so romantic – it even made me consider doing one for my own wedding. Another huge perk for me was that I got to work with one of my all time favourite suppliers – Smallpiece Catering. Gemma, Ann & their team are the best caterers in Hampshire and put on one hell of a feast for these two, not to mention the unbelievable Croquembouche wedding cake! I bloody loved being a part of this wedding, thank you guys for having me. There are probably far too many images in this blog post, but I just couldn’t help it!
Stunning barn, beautiful dress, snazzy custom made suits, good weather & lovely people … makes for one very happy Maddie and one bloody brilliant wedding! Hilary and Darren are two of the loveliest people, who I first met a couple of years ago at Darren’s best friends wedding (which I also photographed!) and I was so excited when they asked me to capture their special day too. Tithe Barn is the perfect setting for a wedding, I love how cosy it feels despite its glorious size! Congratulations again Hilary & Darren x
Low key, intimate weddings have to be some of my favourite and from my experience the Bride and Groom seem to have a little more fun too! August and Alex did exactly that with their beautifully styled intimate wedding. The wedding was held in The Basing Room at Winchester Registry Office with the reception in The Outhouse at the back of the Green Man pub. From the minute I first met these guys I knew we were going to get on like a house on fire. August is full of vision and creativity and that really came across in the styling of their gorgeous wedding. Shout out to Catkin & Pussy Willow for the most amazing flowers!!! Enough talk, have a little look for yourself …
