My first wedding of 2016 ready to be delivered! Ben & Alex got married in Curdridge Church and had their intimate reception at the beautiful Hotel Du Vin in Winchester. I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing this lovely couple since their engagement a few years ago, and it was so special to finally photograph their wedding. An inspiring pair of people, with such wonderful family and friends. Alex and her Mum made the bouquets and flower arrangements themselves, Alex did her own make up, the best man played guitar & sang all the hymens and Alex’s Auntie sang during the signing of the register!! An all round talented bunch, and a super special wedding (not to mention a simply stunning Bride!) xxxxxx

Happy New Year!! I have kicked off 2016 by ordering a beautiful fine art wedding album for one of my favourite venues, to use at their wedding fairs. I love receiving albums in the post, it’s so rewarding to see my images in print form (especially when they are in a wonderful leather bound album!). I took a few snaps of this album so that you can get an idea of the quality and style of them. I use a fabulous company that specialise in fine art portrait and wedding albums for professional photographers, handmade in the UK.  The images are printed directly on to the page and each double spread opens out flat with an almost invisible crease so your wedding photographs can be displayed across two pages! Take a look …

I don’t know where to begin with this BEAUTIFUL sunny wedding last weekend! Laura & I hit it off instantly with our love for note taking and list making, and on her wedding day it was like photographing a friend. We all had so much fun, and it was a pleasure to watch and document such a happy couple. Laura & Tom wanted a super relaxed day, with a slight woodland feel and they definitely achieved it! Their ceremony in Lewes Town Hall was full of laughter and their marquee reception in the cobbled village of Iford was stunning. Everyone totally LOVED the Mustang that they had, such a super stylish day. There are so many images from their day that I would love to share but here is a selection to form their sneak peak! Thank you so much for having me guys, huge congratulations again : ) x

On Saturday this lovely couple said their ‘I do’s’ in the beautiful Chawton House Library near Alton. Zena, her Mum and Sister’s had a very relaxing morning getting ready in The Barn at Barford Farm, the farm house has a lovely barn along the side that was completely for the girls, it was surrounded by the most beautiful gardens! Joe & Zena had been planning this day for a while and it was lovely to see all of the ideas they talked about become a reality. They definitely wowed everyone with the spectacular book arch that they made (with a little help from some friends!)! Big thanks to Miss Mollies Flowers for the most perfect bouquets.

Yesterday was a very special day for me because one of my very best friends tied the knot! I doubled up as a guest and photographer, and had the best time. Emily and James are two of the loveliest people I know and I am so so happy for them! They had the perfect day, getting married in St James Church in Southwick followed by a fab reception only a stones throw away in the D-Day Memorial Village Hall. Emily and James enlisted the very talented Smallpiece Catering to create their masterpeice of a cake and to do the food for the day. Ann and Gemma worked tirelessly and the food was delicious!! Smallpiece catering are far more than just a catering company, they always go the extra mile and everyone left the wedding feeling like they had made new friends. The day finished perfectly with some emotional, crazy dancing to the traditional Scottish song Loch Lomond. Thank you Mr & Mrs Nelson for such a fantastic day! xxx
