Happy weekend everyone! I have had a lovely time this week, taking a couple of days off for my birthday. We were lucky enough that it was the 25 degrees on Wednesday, with clear blue skies!! We grabbed our picnic rug, a frisbee and our books and went off to the New Forest. Nick and I love the outdoors and being in nature, especially in the sunshine so it was absolutely perfect. After a few hours of relaxing by Hatchet Pond, Nick took me for Afternoon Tea at The Limewood Hotel which is my favourite place. Limewood have a beautiful courtyard which has been given a retractable roof the same as Wimbledon! So on sunny days like Wednesday they pull back the roof, and let the sun shine in. It was glorious! I should have taken some better snaps of the food for you, but it was too dam tasty and before we knew it the stand was half empty! I can assure you though, that the sandwiches and cakes were to DIE FOR, I would highly recommend : )

Now, I know we are entering summer (finally!) and the weather is getting warmer, but I wanted to share this lovely Christmas wedding with you guys because it was so fabulous and festive. On 29th December I returned to Skylark Golf and Country Club to photograph the lovely Dave and Kates big day. Kate chose to keep the theme nice and festive by having vibrant red sashes on the wooden chairs in the ceremony, as well as in her beautiful winter bouquet. I especially loved Kates fur jacket – such a fab, snug wintery touch! They chose to have the brilliant Olu Shola sing the night away in the evening, his awesome soulful voice got everyone up dancing. The Photo Lounge were also a part of their evening entertainment, with some of the best photobooth props I have seen!! Great fun – I would personally recommend them to any Bride & Groom to be. xx

Huge congratulations to the lovely Michelle & Kris on the arrival of baby Evelyn! She is utterly perfect and it was so great to photograph her last week.

It is always a pleasure visiting families at this special (albeit hectic) time in their lives, and Michelle & Kris were no exception. I was impressed at how calm and collected Michelle was after having given birth only 1 week earlier! And Kris was the perfect gentleman & doting father. He even put some cookies in the oven for us when it hit lunch time! They made parenting look like a piece of cake.

Where to start with this wedding! This has to be my favourite wedding of 2014 … partly because of its idilic location (who could want more than white sand and a clear blue sea!) but mainly because of the two very special people that tied the knot. Russell & Carly are my brother and sister in law (although technically Nick and I are not married … yet) and this wedding was highly anticipated for a very long time!!

Russ & Carly chose to have a very small, intimate wedding on the beautiful sands of Seven Mile Beach (Caribbean Club) on Grand Cayman in the Caribbean. In total, nine of us embarked on the trip and shared their special day with them. I must say that having it so personal and family orientated made it so extra special … and a hell of a lot more emotional! There was only one person who didn’t cry that day … and that was my man, Nick! Immune to the happy tears it seems!

Carly and Russ planned the most amazing day and I think I only put my camera down to eat! So many emotional moments to capture and breathtaking views that it was heaven for me, I had so much fun.

Here are a few images from the day to give you a quick glimpse … Check out Carly’s insanely amazing shoes! She kept those a secret! Enjoy!!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous little Sienna in Wokingham. I was kindly recommended to her parents Louise & Paul by the lovely Holly & Daron. Louise & Paul were looking for some nice natural shots of Sienna, which was music to my ears because that is exactly how I like to shoot.

I use natural light in all of my work, only bouncing a small amount of additional light when required. I do like to use the odd small prop or item of knitwear – such as the beautiful knitted hat below.

Sienna was a delight to photograph, even giving me a cheeky angelic little grin!
