One of the best things about photographing weddings is that I get to meet some of the best people in the world. Becca & Mike definitely fall into that category! These two are full of sincerity and are such wonderful people that seem perfect for each other. Their wedding took place at the stunning ‘Green House Hotel‘ in Bournemouth. This lovely boutique hotel is perfectly set up to cater for intimate weddings, and the atmosphere is beautifully relaxed. The beach is a 5 minute walk over the road, which of course had me jumping for joy! A wedding full of the most genuine, lovely people, and such a fun day! Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Pop! (Absolutely the best surname yet!!) x

Hannah and Olly had a totally fabulous wedding in a little village near Andover, and they created their own ‘Smithfest!’. Olly is in a band, and so music was a key theme for them. Hannah’s parents have a big field behind their garden, and this made for the perfect setting to host their marque reception. Hannah chose to have big sunflowers in the girls bouquets and all over the marque as decoration, such a beautiful way to give the day a pop of brightness and colour. I had the best time with these guys, so relaxed and up for a laugh, they were so much fun to photograph. Thank you for having me and letting me join in with the festival fun!

What an adventure this wedding was! I was so lucky to be asked to go to Florida to photograph Nick and Jillian tie the knot (for the second time! They already married in London too) for their special Fort Lauderdale wedding. I had the most AMAZING time! Such a beautiful place, lovely weather and the most utterly wonderful people. Thank you so much guys for allowing me to capture both of your awesome wedding days! xxx

My first wedding of 2016 ready to be delivered! Ben & Alex got married in Curdridge Church and had their intimate reception at the beautiful Hotel Du Vin in Winchester. I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing this lovely couple since their engagement a few years ago, and it was so special to finally photograph their wedding. An inspiring pair of people, with such wonderful family and friends. Alex and her Mum made the bouquets and flower arrangements themselves, Alex did her own make up, the best man played guitar & sang all the hymens and Alex’s Auntie sang during the signing of the register!! An all round talented bunch, and a super special wedding (not to mention a simply stunning Bride!) xxxxxx

Happy New Year!! I have kicked off 2016 by ordering a beautiful fine art wedding album for one of my favourite venues, to use at their wedding fairs. I love receiving albums in the post, it’s so rewarding to see my images in print form (especially when they are in a wonderful leather bound album!). I took a few snaps of this album so that you can get an idea of the quality and style of them. I use a fabulous company that specialise in fine art portrait and wedding albums for professional photographers, handmade in the UK.  The images are printed directly on to the page and each double spread opens out flat with an almost invisible crease so your wedding photographs can be displayed across two pages!
